Crushers used for materials of approximately 300-400 mm in size and aiming to obtain the end product in [(0-60mm), 40mm or 0-25mm] sizes are called secondary crushers.

At this stage, the physical characteristics of the material determine the type of crusher to be preferred. Especially in the case of hard and abrasive stones, secondary jaw crushers or cone crushers are generally considered suitable for use.
